The Evidence: I Love God – Part 2

I heard these few quotes, and it made me pause for a moment pondering on these words, “Do I reflect that I love God”.

• The more we love God, the more we become like Him.
• To love God is something greater than to know Him.
• I love God's shadow on the earth mirroring His will.

Immediately I prayed and said, Lord, here is my heart. Speak what is true. I owe my whole life to You. I want to love you more each day, teach me Your pure and upright ways, to serve and to do what pleases You. Immediately the following power points came to mind.

• Fall deeper in love for the house of God.
• Love what matters most to Him, “souls”.
• Give to Him and His house.

LOVE FOR GOD’S HOUSE

The house of your LOVER is never too:

• Far to travel. The road might be bumpy, POTHOLES…. or a far distance to travel but if you have a love for His house you will travel on any kind of road.
• Or too lazy to serve.

Psalm 122:1 – NLT "I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of the Lord!”

Psalm 84:1-2 - NLT "How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies! I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the Lord. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God."

Psalm 27:4 NLT – “The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.”

Don’t just visit His house, get a passion to DWELL in His house!

Psalm 96:8 - "Ascribe to the Lord the glory due to His name; bring an offering and come into his courts."

Psalm 84:7 - SAYS we appear before God!!!! …not before zoom, television, phone, social media…..

I understand it's sometimes not possible to be in the house of the Lord….but make sure every time you get the opportunity to be in the house of God, make your way to His most important place, “the church” Hebrews.

How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Don’t allow anything to keep you away from the house of God.

IF YOU LOVE GOD, YOU WOULD LOVE WHAT HE LOVE, “SOULS”

Say, SOULS!!!!

If you love a person, anything that concerns them concerns you. We know that souls are the heartbeat of God. God loves unsaved souls, and He wants them saved.

If God gave His only son for unsaved souls, then we must be willing to give our TIME AND RESOURCES to get souls saved. We as believers need to stop making excuses, thinking “soul winning” is only for the evangelist.

If we truly love God, we will Do what matters to Him, be a soul winner.

• You will invite them to church to get saved.
• You will pray for souls in the marketplace.
• You will be a disciple to these new converts.

We say we want our churches to grow but we don’t bring souls to the house of God. We connect with people everyday, talking about ourselves, our own problems etc, but do not touch the one thing that matters the most to the Lord…SOULS.

Say: “Holy Spirit rekindle a fire for a PASSION FOR SOULS in me!”

IF YOU LOVE GOD, YOU WILL GIVE TO HIM AND HIS KINGDOM

How you see God, determines how much you will give/produce to God! And we see this great example in the life of David.

David loved God affectionately, and so he didn’t hold back his resources from God.

1 Chronicles

Do you realize this is beyond ten percent tithe and our Sunday worship offering, this is all about giving yourself, your whole heart. We see this great example from God, in scripture John 3:16.

Your Love does not negotiate or consider anything but an act of obedience. Lovers are givers and they give their all.

I pray that the depth of your love for God will reflect in your actions through, your commitment to His house, your passion for saving souls, and your willingness to give generously. Let us strive to embody these principles daily, drawing closer to God and fulfilling His will with all our hearts.

May our love for Him be evident in every aspect of our lives, shining brightly for all to see.

Let us declare together, “Lord, we love You, and we dedicate ourselves to Your service. Teach us to walk in Your ways and to live out Your love in all that we do, in Jesus Name, Amen!.”
