The Strength of a Woman

"A woman's strength is not just in her physical abilities or endurance, but in her unwavering faith, her capacity to love deeply, and her resilience to rise above every challenge life presents. Her true power lies in her connection to God, who renews her strength each day."

Every woman who has walked with the Lord has a connection with God and a powerful story to tell. Examples of women of strength from the Bible:

  • Sarah will tell you: “Nothing is too hard for God.”
  • Hagar will tell you: “God sees you.”
  • Rahab will tell you: “Your past doesn’t define you; God can use anyone.”
  • Hannah will tell you: “God answers prayers.”
  • Ruth will tell you: “I will go where you go, and your God is my God.”
  • Esther will tell you: “Trust in God; He will exalt you in His perfect timing.”
  • The woman with the issue of blood will tell you: “When you need a miracle, and all has failed, God will empower you with His healing and strength.”

In the fast-paced world we live in, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities and challenges we face daily. From managing work, family, and church activities to navigating personal struggles, the weight of it all can sometimes seem unbearable. However, as Christian women, we have a source of strength that is unfailing and ever-present: the Lord. Our faith in Him provides us with the power and resilience to face each day with courage and hope.

Here is a principle I live by every day…when going through tough times or major storms, I say to myself, “Lillian, make peace with the process, trust the process, for your strength comes from the One who loves you unconditionally – God.”

The Bible reminds us repeatedly that our true strength comes from our relationship with God. In Isaiah 40:31, we are given a beautiful promise: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” This promise verse reassures us that when we place our trust in God, He will renew our strength and enable us to rise above our circumstances.

One of the most empowering aspects of our faith is knowing that we do not have to rely on our own strength. Philippians 4:13 declares, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This powerful affirmation encourages us to lean on Christ for the strength to accomplish what may seem impossible. Whether it’s overcoming personal trials or pursuing our dreams, we can do so with the confidence that Christ is empowering us every step of the way.

In moments of anxiety and stress, turning to the Lord in prayer and meditation can provide unparalleled peace and strength. Philippians 4:6-7 advises, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” When we bring our worries to God, He replaces our anxiety with His peace and gives us supernatural strength to face life’s challenges with a calm and steady heart.

Women play a vital role in the body of Christ; she understands what it means to support one another. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 states, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” Being part of the body of Christ allows us to draw strength from each other’s encouragement and wisdom. Sharing our burdens and triumphs with fellow believers not only strengthens our faith but also reminds us that we are not alone in our journey.

Our daily actions and attitudes can reflect the strength we derive from the Lord. Colossians 3:23-24 instructs, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” By dedicating our efforts to God and striving to live according to His will, we become beacons of His strength and love to those around us.

Let our lives be a testament to the power of faith and God who sustains us with His strength. Here are a few scriptures to meditate on every day:

  • Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
  • 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
  • Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Trust in His written Word, His promises, seek His presence; by doing this, you will find the resilience and courage needed to face each day. Live boldly and confidently, knowing with God, all things are possible.

Isaiah 40:31 TPT “But those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their races without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.”

Forgive quickly and love deeply!

Ps.Lil ❤
