Worthy Girl Initiative
"Worthy girls is an initiative that exists to empower young girls in school by providing support for them during their monthly cycle. Our mission is to assist girls from underprivileged backgrounds by providing them with essential sanitary pads, basic cosmetics and sharing the love of God through teaching them the word.
We have seen that in our surrounding communities girls face significant challenges when it comes to managing their menstrual health. The lack of access to sanitary pads can lead to discomfort, embarrassment, and even missing out on school on the days of the monthly period.
We have committed to breaking down these barriers and ensuring that no girl is held back by her period. Through our Worthy girls outreach program, we distribute high-quality sanitary pads, feminine wipes and basic cosmetics to girls in need, free of charge. By providing them with access to these essential products, we aim to alleviate this financial burden on their families and promote dignity and confidence during menstruation.
Our efforts go beyond just providing pads. We understand that there is also a spiritual need in each of these girls as they come from all walks of life and aim to share the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ during these outreaches.
Domestic Workers Appreciation Outreach
This initiative was placed in the heart of Ps Lillian by our Heavenly Father and Ps Lillian has taken the step of Faith and obeyed the voice of God. Therefore this initiative is very dear to her heart.
The aim of the Domestic Workers Appreciation Outreach is exactly as the name says. It is an event where we aim to connect with the hearts of these precious women by showing them that we appreciate them and that we see them, and acknowledge the contribution that they make in society.
This Outreach stands as a testament to our interconnectedness as people and especially women in this case, reminding us that our individual journeys are enriched, uplifted and empowered by the presence and actions of those around us.
In appreciating others, we affirm their value and affirm our shared humanity.
