Love is a Miracle!

The greatest Miracle “Love”

The Most Powerful Force In The World Is LOVE. Love is the greatest miracle that can ever happen to mankind. One encounter with love changes your whole outlook on life.

In the beginning was the Word, before all time and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. “John 1:1 As we think about Jesus as a baby, born in Bethlehem, do not lose sight of His DIVINITY. This baby who grew up and became a Man-Savior is also God Almighty, and the greatest gift imaginable!

When you have God, you have everything you need on earth. He has promised to meet all your needs according to His glorious riches. Yet we as His children sometimes fail to enjoy the riches He provides because of an ungrateful attitude. Instead of rejoicing in all that we have, we long for what we do not have. As a result, we become discontented.

I believe God wants us to practice the sacrifice of thanksgiving, thanking Him in all circumstances. First give thanks for the blessings we can see in our lives. “in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” - 1 Thessalonians‬ 5:18‬ AMP

Then stop and ponder the awesome gift of knowing Him.

  • Your gift of life

  • A loving God

  • Knowing Him as your companion

  • Your redeemer

  • Your provider

  • Knowing Him in Splendor

  • His Goodness and kindness

No matter how much or how little you have in this world, your relationship with Him makes you immeasurably rich. Everything you need in this season is locked up inside of Him. The best response to this astonishing Gift is to embrace it joyfully and gratefully.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” (John 3:16). God in all His might and power, in His beauty and splendor, in all His infinite wisdom, He selflessly gave His only Son for the world.

He gave us the best part of His heart “UNCONDITIONAL LOVE”

“You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.” - 1 Peter‬ 1:22‬ NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬

Here Peter is calling on believers to have agape for each other. He wants us to love each other deeply, from the heart. That expresses an intensity that is all to often lacking in the body of Christ. Agape love means, “I’m actively looking for ways to care for, nurture and give to others”. Love is not accidental, it is intentional.

I want to encourage you to be intentional during this Christmas season.  Give to those who truly have a need, be a blessing to someone this Christmas.

Forgive quickly
Love deeply
