Mirrors Reflecting the Glory

2 Corinthians‬ 3:18‬ TPT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

“We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

The glory of God isn’t just a feeling, an event or an Old Testament experience. It’s a supernatural tsunami of everything contained in the character of God.

We see the glory of God in His word and that glory impacts our spirits and reflects outwardly as we study and meditate on the Word.

Jesus did not say, if you love Me, then sing to Me. He did not say if you love Me, then tell Me so. He did not say if you love Me, then worship me. He did not say, if you love Me then pray to Me. He said none of that.

What He did say was that, “if you love Me, keep My commandments”. In other words, KEEP MY WORD, honor My word. (John‬ 14:15‬ NLT‬‬ “If you love me, obey my commandments”). He was saying that the evidence of your love for Him would be your obedience to His Word. More love for Him shows itself as increased obedience to Him. This happened to Moses in the Old Testament. He had been in the presence of the Lord for forty days and forty nights receiving God’s Word. ‬‬

You will be so excited if you could only see in the spirit how God shapes you for His glory.

We will never be able to know everything about Him. Therefore, it is important to keep growing in His Word, so that you can be ever increasing in His Glory.

If you hunger for His glory to constantly grow in your life then don’t stop your pursuit of Him. Now you will maybe asking Lillian, how do I pursue God?

The answer is very simple. By reading His word. Spend time in prayer and worship Him.

The angels before the throne of God continually experience this wonderful glory, because all they did is worship Him. This is a face-to-face moment with God.

“And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings. And they fell before the throne with their faces to the ground and worshiped God. They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

Revelation‬ 7:11-12‬ NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

This glory continually changes. They never get tired of saying Holy, because as they behold God’s glory they themselves get transformed each time they cry out Holy Holy.

You never see His glory and not be impacted.

Remember Peter, James and John. They went with Jesus on the mountain where He was transfigured before them.

The Bible tells us, “when they saw His glory, transfigured in His glory,…” Matt.17:1-4, they, said master, let’s stay here. They forgot about the whole world.

They said Master, let’s not leave here, let’s build 3 tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses and one for Elijah because those men appeared with Jesus on the mountain. Master, let’s stay here.

Why? Because of the Glory that they saw. It’s was all they wanted. They even forgot about their wives and children.

In the realm of the spirit; you forget about everything and everyone. The kabod-glory is so much, and its all that we need.

God wants you to think like He thinks. He doesn’t want you to think like an ordinary person. He wants you to think what His word says about you, you’ve been glorified!!!

In John the 17th chapter…. God speaks about His glory.

Why did Jesus used the term GLORY so many times? Because the kingdom is glory-focused.

It is all glorious. That’s the life that was given to us in Jesus Christ. He doesn’t just want us to hear about His glory BUT He want us to be in it. He wants us to have a face to face experience with Him. My husband always says that “we are glory carriers”.

God want us to be constantly aware, that we have His glory in us. Your life will change when you live in awareness of God’s glory. Ask Him to increase your awareness of Him more and more each day.

Hebrews‬ 1:3‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

“who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,”

‬‬‬‬‬‬

“Jesus is the brightness of God’s glory” and the express image of his person!!!

That means the outshine of God’s glory.

Declare: Jesus is the brightness of God’s glory, the outshine and the expression of the Father’s glory.

God wants you to use His Word as a mirror to become the brightness of His Glory.

I pray that you will become so hungry for His word, that you will shine like a bright diamond on the earth for His kingdom.

Forgive quickly

Love deeply

Ps.Lil ❤
