Purpose Gives You a Reason to Live
Many people go through life asking, “Why am I here?” and “What is my purpose?” The truth is, God created each of us with a divine plan in mind.
The good news is that, God has a significant plan for each one of us. When we live in alignment with God’s purpose, we experience fulfilment, peace, joy and direction. A well-lived life is not about success or personal achievements—it’s about walking boldly in the purpose God has designed for us.
You are created for a divine purpose. Here are 3 solid foundations for a life well- lived with purpose.
- Know Who God Made You to Be – Your identity in Christ is the foundation of your purpose. If you don’t know who you are, you will be lost.
- Know What God Wants You to Do – Understanding your purpose helps you live with intention.
- Know When to Act – Timing is crucial in fulfilling God’s plan for your life.
When these three align, you are positioned for success.
Our purpose is not found in careers, relationships, or personal achievements—it is found in God alone.
This means we were made by God and for God.
YOUR PURPOSE BEGINS WITH GOD!
Because of his faithfulness, God extended his life by fifteen years. This story challenges us to ask:
I would like to share the Biblical example from King Hezekiah with you, in 2 Kings 20:1-6. Hezekiah faced death but turned to God in prayer. Because of his faithfulness, God extended his life by fifteen years. This story challenges us to ask:
- If God asked you to give Him reasons why He should extend your life by fifteen years, what would you say?
- If God reviewed the past fifteen years of your life, would He be eager to add more years to your life?
- Are you using your time to fulfil His purpose?
To live awith purpose driven life, I would like to encourage you to follow these five keys:
- Centre Your Life Around God (Worship) – True worship is not just singing; it’s making God the focus of your life (Matthew 22:37-38).
- Learn to Love God’s Family, His church (Fellowship) – The church is God’s Laboratory to learn how to love (Hebrews 10:25).
- Grow Spiritually (Discipleship) – Spiritual growth requires learning and applying God’s Word (Colossians 2:6-7).
- Serve Others (Ministry) – Use your gifts to serve and bless others (1 Peter 4:10).
- Share God’s Love (Witnessing) – Be an ambassador for Christ, leading others to Him (2 Corinthians 5:18, 20).
God has called you to live with intention, passion, and purpose. Don’t waste your days—choose to walk boldly in your divine calling.
Declare this confession with me: “I am created for a purpose, and I will walk boldly in it. I will seek God’s will daily, and live with passion, knowing He guides my steps. I will not waste my days, but live with intention, serving God and others.
