EMBRACING THE GRACE OF GOD
‘Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;’
2 Peter 1:2 (NASB)
Are you enjoying a life filled with peace? If not, then you haven’t encountered the person “Grace”. I would like to introduce you to Him. He is full of compassion, love, understanding, and has a forgiving heart like no other. Grace gives you a new beginning in life, without having any condemnation of your past. His grace is more than enough for you!
(2 Corinthians 12:9 TPT) “But He answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and My power find its full expression through your weakness.”
I know that there are two things we need in our walk with God, “Grace and peace”. Apostle Paul didn’t begin his letter to the Ephesians with, “Good day, how are you?” He greets the people by declaring, “grace and peace” over their life, because he knew they would need it over their lives. And so do we in today's life. Wouldn’t it be great if grace and peace would abound – overflow in your life.
God’s grace gives us the ability and power to help us do whatever we need to accomplish in life. It can make impossible situations possible.
The grace of God, often described as a divine favor or kindness, transcends religious boundaries and serves as a beacon of HOPE for countless individuals navigating the complexities of their journeys.
At its core, the grace of God is an unmerited gift (Ephesians 2:8 NLT) “God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God”.It’s a profound expression of love, compassion and the knowledge of God that extends beyond human understanding. It is not based on our action or achievements, but rather a testimony to the unconditional nature of divine love of Jesus Christ for us. In the times of despair and uncertainty, acknowledging and embracing the grace of God can bring peace and reassurance in our lives!
One great aspect of divine grace, it is a transformative power. It has the ability to uplift and renew, offering a path to redemption and forgiveness. In the midst of life’s challenges, the grace of God becomes your source of resilience, encouraging you to rise above your circumstances and find strength in Christ.
Furthermore, the grace of God fosters a spirit of gratitude. When you realize how grace has carried you and saved you, your heart fills with gratitude and humbleness. I can remember when I went through very difficult times a couple of years ago, I was desperate for the grace of God upon my life and i remember how I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit when walking the streets of Miami, “TRUST ME, I AM WITH YOU”. Right there, I encountered the person “Grace”. The grace of God encourages us to appreciate life and cultivate a positive mindset that transcends adversity.
In moments of introspection, many find the grace of God is a constant presence; a guiding force that illuminates even the darkest corners of our lives. This awareness instills a sense of purpose, prompting individuals to live with intention and align their actions and values to be rooted in compassion and kindness.
However, embracing the grace of God doesn’t negate the challenge of life; rather, it provides a foundation for navigating those challenges with resilience and hope. Grace reminds you, even in the face of adversity, He is your greatest support and love available to all who truly seek Him.
Whether you find yourself in moments of joy or times of hardship, acknowledge and embrace the grace of God; it's your source of profound inspiration.
I would like to encourage you take a hold of this great gift, because we have the choice of rejecting or accepting it. Paul, as an ambassador of Christ, teaches us to be reconciled back to God!, “As though God were intreating through us, we beg you, on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God” (2Corinthians 5:8-21).
Secondly be very grateful for God’s grace upon your life. We must be thankful for this great gift from God. Paul, said, “I thank God always concerning you, for the grace of God which is given you in Christ Jesus”(1Corinthians 1:4). Paul expresses gratitude of the grace of God when he speaks of his own salvation.
”And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all long-suffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.“ (I Timothy 1:12-17 NKJV)
What a great example we have in Apostle Paul. I pray that you will follow this unique example and share this great gift of Grace with others.
Forgive quickly
Love deeply
