THE BENEFITS OF GOD’S PRESENCE
We cannot fulfill our purpose without God’s Presence. Anything outside of God’s presence leads to struggle and pain. It opens doors for the enemy to take charge of your life. I am convinced that you want your life to be controlled by the the Spirit of God.
To understand the Presence of God’s benefits for your life, you need to understand the dimensions of the Presence. There are 3 dimensions of the Presence of God.
The first one is that God is Omnipresent (Ps.139:7-10), He is everywhere even if you don’t recognise or experience His Presence. Well, I’m ready for a life changing encounter with God this year. I desire for a deep manifested Presence of God glory in my life.
The second is God’s in dwelling presence (Ps.84:9-11). Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and God dwells in you. I literally ask God to give me a new fresh infilling of His Holy Spirit when I pray in the morning.
You can do the same. It is a great benefit to your life, so that Gods Presence is with you always.
The third dimension is the manifest presence of God (Ps.43:3). It is when we are aware of God’s Presence.
You might ask, how do I discover and know God’s benefits for my life? The answer is found in SEEKING HIM DAILY.
Matthew 6:33 NLT
“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” After seeking God, there are great benefits waiting to fill your life:
First benefits of God’s Presence, is that He promises to fill you with Joy.
Joy is found in giving the Master the keys of your heart.
Psalms 16:11 NLT
“You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.”
When you are heart-broken and it feels like all hope is lost, remember that God’s word is set in heaven and promises you that there is joy unspeakable just for you.
Second benefit of God’s Presence brings Rest.
A great treasure of seeking the Lord is the promise that we will find Him and in finding Him, we find Rest for our souls. He is the source of REST because His yoke is easy, and His burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30)
Third benefit of God’s Presence is that God gives you Life.
The same God who created life is trustworthy with your life. He came so that you might live abundantly. Seeking God ignites the eternity He placed in every heart and that sets our mind on eternal things.
Romans 2:7NLT
He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.
Fourth benefit of God’s Presence, He will give you strength.
His strength is limitless. It’s when we are weak and wanting to give up that the Holy Spirit whispers in your ear, “don’t grow weary I’m your strength. You are weak but I’m about to encounter you with my strength”.

Fifth benefit of God’s Presence “Discernment, Understanding and Wisdom”.
When we commit to seeking God first, His wisdom and understanding pours over us with true freedom to follow his plan and purpose for our lives.
From the throne room of God, flows the discernment to live every day to the fullest, making the most of every opportunity.
Ephesians 5:15-16 AMP
“Therefore, see that you walk carefully [living life with honor, purpose, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil], not as the unwise, but as wise [sensible, intelligent, discerning people], making the very most of your time [on earth, recognising and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil.”
My husband has been a great example to us as a family and to our church. He has taught us that by dwelling in the Presence of God, we can establish a powerful communion with the Lord where the Holy Spirit abides within us. In this place, we will find ourselves constantly filled with faith, and this equips us to handle anything that comes into our life.
Have a life filled with God’s Presence.
