How Does Revival Start?
God spoke to me this morning about His love and He asked me this question: “How does revival start?” And I was thinking for a moment and then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “through My love. If my people are not in love with My word and in love with My kingdom revival cannot come. Because My kingdom will come, and My will be done on earth as it is in heaven”.
That’s how I perceived it in my spirit this morning when we love God revival will come. This lockdown has bought us back to firstly fall in love with our heavenly father again with the Holy Spirit with the Lord Jesus Christ because God is a God of relationships and my relationship can only grow with Him because He loves me.
If He brings revival through man that man can get prideful. He also said to me “I don’t share My glory, I will share my love with everyone that I created but I will never share My glory .” If man has to be glorified pride steps in and that’s where God knew He can only send revival through His love, not through glory with his people because glory only belongs to Him.
This lockdown in our homes where relationships are back together in the houses with families. Families with fathers and children and mothers and children and husband and wife need to come back to their love relationship with God first then their relationship will be restored and out of that flows revival from a home. God can move anything if we love Him but first love Him unconditionally.
How can we grow in our love for God?
The more time we spend with Him the more we love Him. His Word describes to us how much He loves us and what His plans are for us. Spending time in His word and in His presence brings us closer to His heart.
There’s a private place reserved for the lovers of God, where they sit near him and receive the revelation-secrets of his promises.
We can trust God for a love encounter with Him. To utterly understand His heart.
The Lord looks down in love, bending over heaven’s balcony, looking over all of Adam’s sons and daughters. He’s looking to see if there is anyone who acts wisely, any who are searching for God and wanting to please him.
When we give thanks to Him and worship Him for who He is and what He has done for us our love grows. The more we give thanks to God the more we enlarge our hearts to receive His love and joy.
O sing and make melody, you steadfast lovers of God. Give thanks to him every time you reflect on his holiness!
In revelations 2:3 it says “nevertheless I have somewhat against you (only a little) because you have left your first love.” We have left our first love and because of that revival cannot come. If we truly love our heavenly father revival will come and because we love Him in obedience and giving He will reveal His purpose and plans for us. Everything flows from love!
